24 Preludes for Piano in All Major and Minor Keys: In the Style of Bach's "Prelude in C Major" from The Well-Tempered Clavier Details
Bach’s “Prelude in C Major” from The Well-Tempered Clavier is a favorite among pianists because its series of flowing arpeggios is exquisitely beautiful yet rather easy to play. If you’ve ever wished that Bach’s Preludes in other keys were in that same simple, arpeggiated style, this book is for you. For all 24 keys (12 major and 12 minor) we’ve created Preludes whose compelling chord progressions are derived from other compositions by Bach himself and whose scintillating arpeggio patterns are derived from the keyboard works of Mozart! (Previously published as "Bach Meets Mozart: 24 Etudes for Piano.")
Reviews
Be sure to read the subtitle of this music book: "In the Style of Bach's 'Prelude in C Major.'" I was looking for a more complete version of Bach's "Prelude in C Major" for beginners piano, and mistakenly purchased this volume. It is interesting, but not Bach. If nothing else, it has taught me to read titles more closely.
