Reviews
A very good summary of Science Fiction television shows produced from 1959 through 1989. The author provides many details of production and development not available anywhere else. The second volume (covering 1990 throughout 2004) is the better book with more details of production, cast, and financial difficulties and it is also better written, but if you are interested in SF and Fantasy television development, you can't go wrong with purchasing both volumes as a set. Be aware that not every television series is covered and you will regret that the compilation does not include productions of the early 1950's. Still this is the first volume of an essential reference.
